no, there really isn't anything really NEW in my life
but somehow, the things about to happen in my life
make it feel like a new beginning
im not supposed to admit this
but maybe i don't care
maybe i can cry over something i left in the past 2 years ago
maybe i can be irrational
maybe i can get emotional over listening to old songs
maybe i love my new sweatpants that were $40,
yes ridiculously $40
maybe im not ready to grow up
maybe i have a few life decisions to make,
but im putting them off
maybe im completely and totally lost without the gospel in my life
maybe im entirely okay with the previous statement
maybe im petrified to ask out a guy in my ward because he is
out of my league
maybe im perfectly imperfect,
and its all okay because my Heavenly Father made me that way
and he has a plan
and thats all that really matters.
This is awesome. Thank you for posting it. I think we all feel that way now and then. And props on wanting to ask out a guy that you think is out of your league.
ReplyDelete1) Crying is healthy, but remember that the past is passed for the reason ;) If it's not in our lives now it's because we're better off without it. Learn from experiences but don't dwell on them too much.
ReplyDelete2) Irrationality is a part of life. So is sappy music. We're girls. We have excuses. And we also have chocolate.
3) I was with you when you bought those sweats. Still mad you got the sweatshirt I wanted :P Just kidding.
4) Growing up isn't necessary, as long as you are making mature choices with your agency :) You better never be too old to screamo-sing with me and ice skate in socks whilst making nasty "30 second brownies in a microwave". You better also never convince me to eat those..*pukes*
5) Gospel is true. You ARE lost without it :)
6) Ask him out. No one is out of your league, you're Sarah Biro. If anything, he's out of yours. Trust me. I know this stuff.
7) Perfecting imperfection is an art.

I have to agree with Natalie, on all counts. Especially the part where no one is out of your league. I think Christopher Robin said it best: "Promise me you'll always remember: you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. You should ask him.
ReplyDeleteDaniel- you are awesome, ps. im taking you up on your offer to "beat him up or something cool like that"
ReplyDeleteNatalie- dont worry, im not dwelling; I saw it first, the day before, i guess its a good thing you love me anyways; i'll never be too old, and it was all your idea to eat and make those, all your idea!!!!!!
Phil- why is your blog name not your name, I had to go searching to figure out who you were, and I like that quote a lot, I might steal it!
