Speechless

Meet Dr. Papa... amazing man, I mean he raised my mom after all! Dr. Papa changed the world, one patient at a time, just ask Joliet, IL they have story after story, life saved after life saved, all because of this man, unselfish, giving, and sacrificing of moments with his 11 children (Yes I just said ELEVEN) and moments with his precious sweetheart
all so he could save lives, of those he hardly knew...

Dr. Papa's period of tests and trials will soon be over, he soon will get to embrace his sweet wife again and watch us from beyond the veil. I know that for many my lack of words and lack of tears at these moments seems insensitive, but let me explain:

I have a testimony of Eternal Families
Even though my family has yet to be sealed,
I know we will be together again in the kingdoms above
I know that what ever lacking in our relationship we may have had due to life circumstances,
We will make up for on the other side of the veil
I have a testimony of the Plan of Salvation
I know I will see my Dr. Papa again

"And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with pleasure, and he will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father. Amen."
[Enos 1:27]

I love you Papa
May God be with you until we meet again

A Brand New Year!

2010:
The great and wonderful twenty-ten brought many things into my life, two new best friends, a trial that I fully needed to experience to prove to myself I am stronger than I think, my life is more blessed than I can imagine, and my mom still knows me better than anyone. Many disappointments were felt, and many priceless memories were made. The temple proved to be the ONLY thing that kept be grounded, or at times, barely afloat. I gained a curfew again, and fell in love with 'home' all over again. Spent many, many, many a work filled night, and many nights buried in homework assignments. I witnessed a beautiful daughter of God with such a meek, and humble heart get baptized, and daily soften the hearts of my parents. I spent one full day in and out of a car, taking too many pictures and making memories of the most successful kidnapping I have ever pulled off. Was brought to tears over how blessed I really am, and spent a Christmas season that exhibited more love and kindness than any year past. Twenty-ten had many a moment of confusion, tears, and sadness, but and even greater amount of love, charity, and moments of amazement at those in my life.

2011:
You came in with joy, laughter, and great company. I have big expectations for you, being the year I turn 2, turn 22, graduate from college, become a teacher, and hopefully find more and more ways to draw closer to living with an eternal perspective.

To anyone, and everyone who made my 2010 what it was, and who is yet to make my 2011 the best year yet, Thank You! Words of love and gratitude can not fully express how blessed I feel everyday to be surrounded by those who motivate me to be a better person, I love you!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
