2010:
The great and wonderful twenty-ten brought many things into my life, two new best friends, a trial that I fully needed to experience to prove to myself I am stronger than I think, my life is more blessed than I can imagine, and my mom still knows me better than anyone. Many disappointments were felt, and many priceless memories were made. The temple proved to be the ONLY thing that kept be grounded, or at times, barely afloat. I gained a curfew again, and fell in love with 'home' all over again. Spent many, many, many a work filled night, and many nights buried in homework assignments. I witnessed a beautiful daughter of God with such a meek, and humble heart get baptized, and daily soften the hearts of my parents. I spent one full day in and out of a car, taking too many pictures and making memories of the most successful kidnapping I have ever pulled off. Was brought to tears over how blessed I really am, and spent a Christmas season that exhibited more love and kindness than any year past. Twenty-ten had many a moment of confusion, tears, and sadness, but and even greater amount of love, charity, and moments of amazement at those in my life.
2011:
You came in with joy, laughter, and great company. I have big expectations for you, being the year I turn 2, turn 22, graduate from college, become a teacher, and hopefully find more and more ways to draw closer to living with an eternal perspective.
To anyone, and everyone who made my 2010 what it was, and who is yet to make my 2011 the best year yet, Thank You! Words of love and gratitude can not fully express how blessed I feel everyday to be surrounded by those who motivate me to be a better person, I love you!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Sarah!
ReplyDeleteFirst, your an amazing writer. Second, I'm extremely blessed to have you all in my life! Let's make 2011 better than 2010. We'll have fresh attitudes about certain teachers who shall remain nameless and finish it with Bachelor's Degrees! We're going to be the most successful graduating class 2011 will ever see.
I love you tons! We should all plan a trip to the mall and lunch before school starts and mayhem ensues once again.
Love you!
-Jessica!
